Getting the MAC address of a remote PC

By jimmy-jam ·
I have a need to collect the MAC addresses of a handful of PC's. I have the IP addresses of all the machines. Is there a command I can use to get the MAC?

Hello Jimmy-jam yes pstools can do this download pstools from the ms website.

once pstools is downloaded run the below command after putting the files in the system32 folder

PsExec \Hostname IPCONFIG /all

this will in turn show you the mac of the remote machine hope it helps.

Angry IP scanner is a nice tool too

You can set the subnet and save your options. You can export the file also. I prefer the pcfinder export though.

This one also looks promising, but I haven't played with it yet.
