Ghost 10 Multicasting.

by tobej . Updated 18 years, 4 months ago

Hello to all,

Today we were imaging a bunch of PC in a school that I am working in, the first go around for multicasting went quite well.. All PC’s on 2 switches, and I am sure that they were given IP’s on the same subnet… The next multicast session did not go so well, the PC’s were on 3 switches, but were given different IP’s from multiple subnets. So that means that the traffic would have had to go through the router, would this have been the reason why things did not go so well? Any ideas?

BTW – there were approximately the same number of PC’s imaged in both instances.
