I’m having trouble creating an image of Win2k on a Dell GX-260 using Ghost 2003. First of all the NIC nor DVD/CD-R are not supported on this version. Secondly, I just found out that I have to run Sysprep tool so it can change the SID, therefore not causing a conflict on the network.
Needless to say, I created an image anyway to test it out. I created it fine. But when I tested it, I got an application error. Ran an integerity check on the disk and got a decompression error. Contacted symantec for $30 per incident or $3-$4/min and all they told me was to create a new image. Well, I did that and it still didn’t work. I’ve posted a similar question on both Dell’s and Symantec’s website and have gotten no response. So, I’m bringingit here. Please for give me for being lengthy, but wanted to include as much info as possible. Thanks for any suggestions.
