Ghost 9.0 and WinSP SP2

I have discovered (no thanks to Norton/Symantec) that a copy of my main drive to another new drive won’t work. The new drive won’t boot up completely–just gets hung up on a blue screen after the POST phase.

Apparently, XP SP2 doesn’t allow the copy bootup to be completed. Are there any workarounds for this? Thanks.
