Ghost user in Windows 9x

by gemailhiot . Updated 25 years, 4 months ago

Several installations, all network, using Windows networking.

As a result of re-installing Windows 9x, I think, I find these machines now have a second user which does not connect automatically to the network.

When the computer is started, the ghost is the active user. In order to connect to the LAN, I must logoff and logon as different user (the real one, defined in the network applet).

Is there a way of getting rid of this ghost user? In some cases, under the influence of the ghost, mouse controls are off and other quirks.

Thanks
