We have been running Ghost 7.5 for some time. I downloaded the evaluation of 8.0 and the same thing happens. This had been working and just stopped.
When using a boot disk created by Ghost Boot Wizard here is what happens.
It attaches to the share that has been in use for years for ghosting which is good, but you can?t see any files or folders. You can change to the different folders but you can?t run anything from the folders.
If you go to the Ghost folder and try to run ghost.exe, you get ?Bad command or file name” like it is not there.
Ghost Console works fine and will push and pull images to and from the same share the boot disk won’t work on.
The original share is on a 2000 server that has been upgraded to 2003 server , we made a duplicate share on a 2000 server and all we managed is to duplicate the problem.
Using PC DOS on the boot disk. Not sure what other info may be helpful.
