Gigabyte B660 Gaming x DDR4 Motherboard

I know the normal B660 Motherboard can support DDR5 RAM but I’m not sure about the Gaming x DDR4. Does anyone know if it does? I’m wanting to upgrade my ram to a better DDR5 set instead but if it’s not supported then I can’t.

Share a link to your EXACT board and I’ll check it out.

That said, this is not going to give you a big gain in performance. I’d spend money on a 32GB RAM kit, SSD and better GPU first.

Called B660 GAMING X DDR4 – LGA 1700

I already have a good pc, right now my ram is what’s holding me back. I want to future proof it as much as possible instead of just getting 32-64GB of DDR4 just to have it be outdated after a few years. I have Corsair vengeance pros right now. Wanting to get the DDR5 version of them. If the board doesn’t support it then I’ll get a new board.
