GINA replacement

I want to replce MSGINA with my own GINA. but after that I want to protect this from replacement. How can I do this so that no one can replace GINA again.

You should be able to set security permissions on the key through regedt32. You cannnot change the permissions on the value though only the key. Maybe that is an option for you.

I believe you mean msgina.dll
To change MSGINA if it is on a NTFS drive then one needs to boot in recovery mode and have physical access to the computer plus the local Admin password. but if one has physical access the admin password can be bypassed so it is impossible to protect it so noone can change it again.
