Gmail disable “less secure app access” for an email that setup for scan to

Hi

I have got Brother Printer MFC9330CDW,,,,,I tyried to setup scan to email following :

Email that I have used for setup is : MCF9330CDWhome@gmail.com (not real email)

What I have to do under gmail setting I have to enable(on) : “less secure app access”

Everything working fine but after couple of days “less secure app access” option gets disabled (off)

What should I do to prevent Gmail disablijng that ? if not do we have alternative solution ?

https://support.google.com/cloudidentity/answer/6260879?hl=en#zippy=%2Cnotice-of-setting-removal%2Cif-you-allow-sign-ins-from-less-secure-apps tells this setting is going to be removed in the future. Until then they disable it if not used, but you can enable it again.

The obvious work around is to scan to a local file and attach that to a mail in the standard gmail.com webmail user interface. Other options:
– Find another mail provider that is less concerned about safety.
– Ask Brother to update their app so it’s compatible with the new gmail standards.
– Use another scanner that already is compatible.
