We had a server (exch 5.5) crash, after running the database recovery utils I managed to get the server back online enough to extract mailbox’s to PST files, The mailbox move wouldnt work.
After creating the accounts back into the replacement server we had problems with mailbox’s that belong to users in a trusted domain, when assigning the user to the mailbox, and selecting the trusted domain, it says that it can not browse the doamin as no controller is available.
This issue exists in Exchange only, normal Usermanager etc work as they should do ????????????
