Got Xionics Drivers & Software?

By BDavis4139 ·
Do any of my tech brothers have drivers and software for the Xionics XIP-XV1602CI Graphics Accelerator Card for upload to me?

This card is ISA bus based, has an S3-928, Pixel Magic-2, 220MHz RAM DAC chip set with 2 Meg of video RAM.

Got Xionics Drivers & Software?

Very simply, go register free at: http://www.driverguide.com and I would practically GAURANTEE you can find it! As it says on the homepage for the site: Offers a huge searchable database of drivers, manufacturer information, and links. Provides discussion boards that give members the opportunity to interact with others with their hardware type, and learn from their experiences (very useful!).
Offers a drivers found area where members can upload new and hard to find drivers for others to download. Provides a driver request board where members can make requests for specific drivers. Includes resources for Windows, Mac, Unix/Linux, and other platforms. Provides links to helpful tutorials, valuable utilities, and other resources. Offers a great collection of old, out of date, and hard to find drivers.
Membership is absolutely FREE!

AND I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SUCCESSFUL FINDING DRIVERS AT THAT SITE! JUST GO THERE! :-) (OK, Show me the points, now!)

Sorry my friend, been there done that. Part of the problem is that Xionics was bought out by Oak Technology and they say on their site that they offer no more support for graphics cards. You have to have the drivers or software to upload to me for the points. Don :)

Well my tech brothers, I closed the question because I answered it myself. For those in the future that acquire Xionics graphics cards: The graphics engine chip was made by S3 Inc. The drivers for the S3-928 can be found at www.s3graphics.com . Best regards,
BIG Don :)
