I can’t print from my computer (Pentium 166).
When I try from browser (IE5.5) I get gpf error: explorer caused gpf in HPFWin14.dll.
When I try in Word 97 I get Winword causes gpf error in Winword.exe (previuosly) and now Winword causes gpf inHPFWin14.dll.
When I click on properties in printer settings I get a gpf.
What I’ve done so far:
uninstalled/reinstalled printer (HP Deskjet 722c with 10.3), made sure I have latest drivers. Followed HP protocol which meant stopping bidrectional communication, closing down tool box, trying to print with all apps closed. Using HP tools: communication tests ok, successfully printed a test page.
I also renamed normal.dot template.
TIA,
Scott
