We have ongoing problems printing pdf files at our site.
PDF’s printed from Outlook attachments will result in
“rundll32 caused a general protection fault in GDI.exe”
there after printing from other apps like excel, word, outlook will all error in different ways. To fix printing you have to reboot the PC.
This problem is intermitent, happens on Win95 and 98 desk tops, to different printers
and does not seem to matter about the PDF file being printed. It sometimes happens with the Adobe supplied readme.pdf
all of our printers are HP LJ4000N or LJ5000N

Any ideas?
