Graduate Project Manager Opportunity
TL;DR potential project manager job offer at grad level. Too good to be true?
Longer version:
I have been contacted by a recruiting agency and now the company itself regarding a potential offer to become a project manager. I am just now graduating university with a degree focussed on systems and networks. I have current experience as a Duty Manager in my current workplace. The job offers £30k. What I’m wondering is… is this too good to be true? I don’t really feel like I have the capability to be an IT project manager at this stage, nor is it an area I am overly interested in. But with the current climate, perhaps I should take the job. There certainly isn’t much out there in the way of IT or network administration, which is what I’m more into. And besides, I could see myself moving into managerial positions later on in my career. I just don’t expect it to happen now?
I’d be grateful for your thoughts ?
