Hey do this, go to windrivers.com and download the ATI graphics drivers. After that, rightclick "My Computer" and go to device manager and remove the graphics cards (there should be both a VGA-compatible and ATI. Click OK, then reboot for the graphics drivers that windows asks for at statup, use the newly downloaded drivers.
Providing it is for Windows 95 or 98, the file you need from ATI`s website is called - w82560en.exe. Its 7.3mb in size. I have downloaded it recently because we reloaded a few machines at work. I can email it too you if you would like.
The driver in answer no 3 is the proper driver for your card. I use the same card in my machine. After you get the proper driver, go to control panel add remove software and delete ATI mach64 drivers. Then go to system and remove ATI card.Reboot your machine and when windows finds your card point it to your new driver.
If you have the full version of Win 98SE installed , not the upgrade , it has default drivers in the registry for it, and it should simply do a install by default, later when you are able get the upgrade to tweak it out, be careful as ATI requires some tweaking of the settings after some installs (You should be able to run it on the "Normal" setup across the board with the Win default drivers , but don't reset them untill you have the upgrade ,maybe lower, as those will mess with your monitor),luck P.S. CD drives are cheap , and rather easy to setup.

GRAPHICS CARD DRIVERS
i have an ATI RAGE PRO GRAPHICS CARD.
it is not installed and i am unable to play games or use any software which requires direct 3d.
the MASTER CDS for my pc are broken, so i cant reinstall the card, or reinstall my entire machine for that matter.
i have tried ati's website, and, after downloading around 30mbs of driver files, i have found that NOT ONE OF THEM includes the files i need.
could someone please be so kind and generous as to tell me how to get the card wordking again?
please email me: emmetcoyle@hotmail.com
(please allow me to reply to your email)
thank you very much for your time and effort
