I’m running a Notes backend with an assorted collection of client apps (Lotus, Netscape, Outlook) to access e-mail via IMAP. This seems to work fine. People get to use what the are comfortable with and all is well. Now I need to set up users witha calendar option and I’m running into problems. Exchange with Outlook as a client works great except for the fact that in corporate/workgroup mode Outlook does not support IMAP. Another problem is that in order to schedule meetings and have the meeting automatically placed in your calendar you have to send it to an Exchange mailbox. Now this means a user has to maintain two email accounts, IMAP and Exchange. This will not fly with the end users so I’m trying to find alternatives. I’ve looked into iNotes and it raises similar questions. Any bones you can throw me would be great. Thanks in advance.
