Group email list management

by lmillane . Updated 24 years, 3 months ago

I am looking for an Email discussion list that will replace egroups through yahoo groups, that can be moderated (where message have to be approved before going to the list)

Options for members to set messages to daily digest, individual email or no mail

We also need to have bulletin boards that are maintained through a software program we purchased a few years ago. We are hoping to find a new system that more closely integrates the bulletin boards with email. For example, if you post an item, we would like to have a way for you to receive an email every time someone replies to your post (it would be an option the members could select).

We use digichat right now for the hosting any chat functions. It works well and is easy to configure. The biggest reason it was chosen is the fact it has the ability to save the chat and then print it as a transcript for distribution.

If we can find a package including ALL of the above features, we could consolidate our various services into one package. However, we realize this may not be possible. The biggest focus should be on the email discussion list. We are concerned that Yahoo may eliminate the groups in the future and would like to have something else in place where the members can communicate and interact through email.

Thank you for any suggestions.
