We recently installed a w2k network in my school. The DNS and DHCP are working nicely. However, trying to get the group policies to work at all is a different tale.
We have set up a test OU in which we put a single user and a test group. The user was made a member of the group and the GPO linked to the OU. The policy that we selected was under ‘user config’ and we set the policy to remove the ‘Search’ button from the Start menu. Needless to say, this did not happen.
We also are usingNorton’s corportate edition and it is pushing out its information like it is supposed to.
We would appreciate any help.
