group policy

By David__ ·
I have setup group policy to install a program the first time a user logs into a workstation. The problem is that the program will only install if the user is an administrator. How do I configure the group policy to execute the program install with administrator rights? Server is 2000 Server Backoffice and 2000 and XP Pro workstations.
Thanks.

In your group policy in "User Configuration" under "Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Windows Installer", you need to enable "Always install with elevated privileges"
