Group Policy and IE8

By Enforcer Drive ·
I have group policy in place that designates a particular homepage for a user. When the client machines were upgraded to IE8. The policy no longer took effect. I then upgraded the servers version to IE8. I then recreated the group policy and enforced it at the top of the heirachy. Still no joy. The template is user settings/windows settings/url etc./homepage. Not the exact path but hopefully you know the setting I mean.

Will this just update my old templates?

Don't think so

I'm not a netadmin, and I've never used this tool, but I'd guess you'll have to enter all settings again.
Maybe you'll be able to save some kind of parameter file that you can later reuse for IEAK9, when it comes around.
