I have group policy in place that designates a particular homepage for a user. When the client machines were upgraded to IE8. The policy no longer took effect. I then upgraded the servers version to IE8. I then recreated the group policy and enforced it at the top of the heirachy. Still no joy. The template is user settings/windows settings/url etc./homepage. Not the exact path but hopefully you know the setting I mean.
