Group Policy Does Not Get Apply

I have a Win2k native domain setup with Multilevel OU structure. I right click on the various OUs that I created and use the Group Policy tab to create new Policies( E.g. to restrict access view of control panel icons )and Policies which use login script files to map shared network drives. I only set the basic stuff so far. I have not tried using inheritance blockage ect. yet. I have been loging in and out of the Win2k domain for the past 2 days and I don’t see any restricts applied or my login scrip being executed.
