I have multiple sites right across Canada. For each site they have multiple group policies to map their drives. That means for each site when someone logs on, they could be having up to 12 GP’s pushed to them to map a drive.
I am looking at consolidating the GP’s so only one GP with all drive mappings are contained in the GP.
I am not sure if this is best practice or not. Or if this even the right way to go. But for a majority of the drive mappings, they are all common. So it isn’t like I have to worry about targeting a user. I just have to target the site that they are working in.
