About Three weeks ago users on the network started to be asked for Admin rights to install thier USB Flash drives this has not been the case previously.
Has anyone else had or solved this problem?
The only major change we made was to install an eterprise root CA and issue server and computer certificates for 802.1X no polocies relating to driver installs have been changed and all looks as though they should be able to do this without Admin rights but when the drive is inserted the box comes up and asks for an Admin account to continue.
Further investigation revealed that it is the default domain computer policy that is causing the problem however we cannot determine the cause all policies pertaining to driver installs are undefined or allowed. Can’t figure this one any help greatly appreciated.
