Group Policy Scripting Help Needed

By bhunt ·
I am in charge of a school district's network. We are a windows based LAN running AD. My servers are 2003 and my desktops are XP Pro. My users are very mobile. I have setup a GPO that runs a script (Batch File) to map the necessary network drives for the USERs based on the OU using the User Configuration/Windows Setting/Scripts/Logon and it is working fine. What I would like to do is also have a Computer Configuration Script run that is specific to the computer that will map the necessary printers for the computer. I have created an OU for the computers place the Computer Objects in the OU and applied a VBS script the installs the printer and sets the default printer. I have placed it in the Computer Configuration/Windows Settings/Scripts/Startup of the OU Created for the computers. It is not working. The script itself is working as I can double click it on the desktop and it sets the printers up and sets the default.

What I need is a way to have drives mapped for specific users when they log into the Machine and printers setup based on the computer being used. Any help would be greatly appreciated
