Here’s a good one for any GroupWise Guru – We have users with regular email and internet (pager)emails. For example, Michael Jones has regular email mjones@company.com and also mjones_pager@company.com.
The problem is when someone opens up a new mail and in the “To” field starts to type jones, michael…the auto complete fills it in, and then they hit Enter. A box (Select an entry…)then pops up with both of these email addresses, and the pager one is listed first.
That’s the problem….users inevitably do not look at the addresses, they just hit enter and send. Hence, a lot of users are getting long, detailed messages sent to their pagers that should be sent to their regular email accounts. Now the obvious solution would be to send out an email reminding users that other people may have two accounts and to be sure to send to the regular and not the pager one, etc. Well that won’t work…period….end of story.
I have searched and searched, and cannot find a way to have the regular email account show up first in the “Select an entry..” box.
Anyone have a clue, suggestion? Thanks in advance for any help.
