How can I completely remove GroupWise imaging from a workstation? Situation is this: GW imaging is not supported in the Enhancement Pack client which is what we are running. Apparently, it was installed with a previous client version. Now, when these 2 users (one on NT 4.0, one on Win95) receive emails with JPEG attachments (or other pictures), those attachments are automatically associated with GW Imaging and will not open in paintbrush or Internet explorer or anything else. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the GroupWise client several times. I have also run the Groupwise cleaning agent - to no avail. On new pcs with fresh installs of GW, pictures open up with internet explorer no problem. My guess is that I need to somehow remove the GW imaging association and I don't know how to do that. Any ideas?

Yes! imaging is good only for .tiff files, but not for the others. The problem is that imaging is linked to GW directly (like excel and word) and the do not work as expected. Do this: From explorer, folder options, type of files, search for the jpg extension or Grp imaging and break that asocciation. This can be a hard work, because you have to do it one by one. Another cool solution will be to install ACDsee free (shareware) version (a very cool picture browser) which work with almost everypicture file, and let it's setup program to make the changes for you!!! Under NT will could be more difficult due to the fact that the file associations depends on profiles, and profiles depends on who is logg in.
Thanks - this helped me resolve this issue. I didn't actually have to go through each file though. What I did was I simply removed GW imaging as a file type and then I was able to reassociate these files with IE. Thanks again!
