I'm in a home based network. And when I try to connect to a computer using the LAN ip address some times I get a message login failure .... and at the last contact network administrator..

Then, when I try to login to a system which I was able to do so some days back are now having the same problem. And the thing is all are neighbours but I'm new to this place so I cannot ask for a password from them.

Is there any way that I can login to there system.

And we have a gateway for this network. And I have found the password for it.

And when I get into it I get access to some commands like, show, log e.t.c. What is this system.

I changed my LAN IP before doing the following..

I used telnet to access the gateway or router or some ****. I asked for a password and found one. And when I loged in I got a message ** Welcome to Command Line Interface - version 2.2.5(141) ** and next line type help for discripition ...

And when I pressed "?" mark there was a list of commands " show set log download upload reboot.... templog downgrade "

And some times the administrator say's that sharing is not allowed. But I asked the administrator to allow me to share with some of the friends and he did it. Now I'm able to share but some times not, why ?

There is no one to look after in that administrator room. It is always locked. So, this is not the work of administrator. What causes these problem. And by the time the network is back again to share, now I get the problem like to enter a password to access the system. All are home based pc in a network.

Help me, I love hack and I have been trying my level best to keep it alive...
