As a network admin I consider myself very luck, I have been doing this for over a year and did not have to deal with hackers until last week. My office has a T1 line and we use a Sonicwall firewall for ‘security’. In the office we were testing outan FTP server and opened up a port in the firewall. After about a week some A-hole got in and messed up the computer it was on. No damage other than that. To put it mildly I am a little pissed. I almost feel like someone has broken in to my house. I need to learn a more about what to do when I get hacked, bacically I need to start from ground zero on this topic. I really have way too many questions at this point. Is there a site I can go to or a book I should purchase that will lay a good foundation and build upon that.
