I saw a discussion on here a few months back that helped me to realize I needed to use my Windows xp cd to do a “clean” installation and wipe my computer. I was able to figure out how to go into the BIOS and make it read the disk…however the process ends at a certain point and wont continue the installation. It gives me the “press any key to install” and then that is basically it. I get a bunch of screens with loading bars, but no options to do a clean install or to install at all. It ends with blue screen and what looks like a text bar for me to type in commands. I must be doing something wrong. I just want to wipe my computer and start fresh. any advice? thank you!
