HAL.DLL FILE

Have a pc with winme on one drive and xp on the other. Went to boot up and a message appeared
concerning a missing “hal.dll” file. Was able to get WINME back but when I boot now I no longer have XP listed as a dual boot. I can access files thru explorer but no programs. Any help.
