I know there is a way to do a “dirty install of XP” in order to get the system to boot long enough for me to transfer data to an external hard drive. What happened was, I changed the memory and the file went missing, so the system no longer boots. I put the memory back the way it was, cleared event log in F2 and I just know there is a way to partition. The XP disk will not run. The set up screen comes up and freezes.
I know I can get that data. Someone please respond. I want to create a partition from BIOS-can it be done?
