Hi, I've been playing half life 2 for about since Monday, And I've been hading some constantly crashes, mostly while im in the game, I can play a few minutes of gameplay, but then after a while (Mostly Point Insertion) I get this error message:

---------------------------
Engine Error
---------------------------
Internal driver error in IDirect3DDevice9:resent()

---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Followed by:

---------------------------
HALF-LIFE 2: hl2.exe - Application Error
---------------------------
The instruction at "0x241f5a38" referenced memory at "0x00f3facc". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

After clicking OK, I get a kick out of the game.

Drivers

Grab the latest drivers from your manufactures website. This usually solves 99% of Valves problems, If not try turning the graphics down to the lowest it will go, Then incrementally turn them up until you determine which option is causing it to crash.
