Halloween is coming, time for getting ideas together

First, remember to take pic to submit to Soni's gallery!

Second, I need help trying to come up with something DIFFERENT!

I will do the makeup, but will not wear a full mask.

In the past, I have been a RingMaster, while the EX was a Pink Panther (my pink pu$$ycat), even dragged her around on a leash.

Been a Devil, numerous times.

Even glued a foam skull mask on, wore a ripped up suit, and went as the "Tech support from ****" that you always hear about.

Of course, in the gallery, is my "Brain donor" and "Divorced" costumes.

I need NEW ideas! Help me!

My boys are now 17, and always go with me to the costume party/bonfire. A group idea would be cool too. They will both be bringing their girlfriends this year, (not sure if I will be flying solo or not, to early to tell). So, three guys, and two or three girls/women, or just single costumes.

My tip on blood for a costume

by jdclyde In reply to Halloween is coming, time ...

don't use the fake blood on your clothes, get crimson PAINT. The fake blood fades too quickly, where the paint will stay bright red all night long.

a couple of options...

by Jessie In reply to My tip on blood for a cos ...

Cereal killer - get yourself a bunch of those little cereal boxes and attach them to a shirt having "killed" each one in some different way.

Politician - get a suit from the local thrift store, wear a politician's campaign button. Cut away the entire back of the suit and have women's undergarments showing through on your backside.

Switch hitter - carry around an old dead network switch and a bat - or hit on the switch/ flirt with it all night long.

Did I mention this party is outside?

by jdclyde In reply to a couple of options...

We party around the bonfire most of the night.

Oh yeah, is a kid friendly party.

How do you "kill" a box of cereal?

with little bitty shivs

Or a nice little noose, or you could put a tiny handcuff on a tiny boiler, or just have knives and blood coming out of them... maybe cut a few up into tiny bloody pieces...

The frost isn't even on the pumkin yet and yer thinkin on Haloween.

One of my neighbours already has her trees in the front yard with dayglo spiderwebs.

Another victim of relentless marketing.

We used to carve a pumkin and stick a candle in and you were done. Now people spend big $$.

Bah Humbug.

A good costume is different

by jdclyde In reply to Bah humbug

because it takes time to get everything together because I don't go the pre-fabbed route. I buy pieces and try to make what I can.

I agree that decorations should not be ALLOWED by law to be up yet.

I agree on decorations

and the like, but I'm also of the costumes are different bent. I have to get started making mine, or it won't be done. I've got to figure out how to make the tentacles work.
