I have a Dell Latitude cPx with Windows 2000
It all started with a Windows patch. After I installed it, the CD Rom stopped functioning.
To get it working, I tried some registry changes and then the I/O devices keyboard and the mouse stopped working.
The laptop starts and boots till the point of Login. I am not able to login as the keyboard doesnt work. key board works when I am in set up mode, but it does nto reckognise the CD ROM and hence not able to use the boot disk
How do I overcome this situation? Any workarounds and suggestions would help.
