Hanging Around!!!!!

I have win2k pro with service pack 2 and for some strange reason when I start my machine up. I hangs on loading your personal settings. I dont use usernames and passwords I just login with the administrator auto login. I haven’t added any new software or uninstalled anything recently. I
even have tried to go start up in safemode and use the last known good. But to no help I was unsuccessful in login to my machine. Also I tried to run emergency repair without the emergency repair disk becauseI never made one. Is there a way to make an emergency repair disk now.I
even left it on just to see if it would login for a whole day. I have a fairly new machine with 256mb of ram and a P4 1.2g chip and a 60gig harddisk.

Please Help Me!!!
