Happy Labor Day!

By Packratt ·
For all that hard work that you have done you, as a salaried employee, likely have received a 4% raise at some point, at least that is what the latest figures show.

If you are an hourly employee you likely got a 3% raise after all those productivity gains.

However, if you were a CEO you likely got a 13% raise off the hard work of those employees.

And if you are a CEO that laid employees off, you got a whopping 20% raise! Happy labor day to you!

On average, CEOs make $13 million, CEOs who regularly lay employees off make an average of $23 million, isn't that great?

So, enjoy this labor day, unless you are working during it or getting ready for another 80 hour week, or if you got fired recently. Because those CEOs really apriciate all that hard work you do.

Also, your forefathers would really apriciate that you threw away all that sacrifice they made to get that silly 40 hour work week thing passed. I'm sure they just wanted executives to get rich at your expense. I know they would be happy that many of them died during strikes in which the army was sent to break that you are going to work, on average, one extra month in hours than any other worker in the industrialized world, based on the latest figures.

Look at what all this hard work gets you, then look at what it gets your CEO after he cans your butt. Happy labor day, I know we don't deserve that holiday anymore so enjoy it until they take it away from you.
