Hei, I had this PC for about 3 years, I managed to Jam the machine when I tried to install anti virus program, after I backed up my files I formatted the Hard disc, and every time I try to install WIN XP I get this Message on the screen: Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer. Mack sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected to your computer, and that any disk-related hardware configuration is correct. This may involve running a manufacture-supplied diagnostic or set up program. So I do not know where to go from her. Best regards Fahmy

SATA Drive or a RAID ARRAY in use. When you initially setup the computer you need to push the F6 key to add additional drivers for the SATA Drive or RAID ARRAY. These will need to be on a floppy Disc as your only alternative is to look on the A Drive and they need to be placed in the Root of the floppy.
When you press the F6 key nothing will appear to happen as Windows will continue to go through the process but it will eventually come to a screen asking you to either insert a Disc in the A Drive or chose the desired Controller from the selected list if you already have a floppy in the A Drive.
It's then just a matter of loading the right driver and allowing Windows to continue to install the OS. You should have got a Floppy with the M'Board or you can copy the right SATA/RAID Drivers to the Root of a Floppy from the CD so you can load the correct drivers.
If you no longer have the CD you can download the latest drivers from the makers Web Site and use them.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem.
