My Dell laptop P2 HDD crashed and so i bought this hard disk from someone who was having an IBM thinkpad laptop. The HDD that i bought was 5GB and when i connected it to my Dell Laptop and switched it on it gives me the message “the hard disk is protected by a password the system cannot write to it please enter the password and press enter to continue” problem is the person who sold me the hdd does not remember ever putting a password and the machine wont do anything until u enter the pswd. Does anyone know how i can crack this pswd so that i can use my dell p2 once more.
