Hard Disk Recovery

by amol_ambre . Updated 24 years, 9 months ago

I have a 8.4 Gb Seagate HDD. I have a PIII 450 mHz PC. I had joined a 1.2 Gb Seagate Hdd as primary salve disk keeping my HDD as primary master. But while detecting the drives from Bios Setup it only detected the 1.2 Gb HDD and that to as primary. Even when i continued the computer didn’t boot but showed some table having 7 drives asking me to boot from. I choosed to boot from A: using the win95 startup disk. Then by using the fdisk command the type of the 1.2 gb disk was Table. I removed the drive from my computer keeping my normal settings i.e. using my 8.4 GB disk. After dtecting from the bios setup I started the Pc. It didn’t boot.It showed the error of disk failure. Then again I tried but with the same results. So i used the startup disk to boot the system. I saw that my file system had changed to Table with only 2.1 Gb space. I consultaed with some computer services provider near my locality. They said they had came across same problems. But couldn’t solve it except by formatting the drive.

I have 3 drives on my disk. On E: I have my very important data which i want to recover. It is about 1 Gb. I had used the Demo version of Stellar Phoenix 8.0. It showed the data but it cannot recover in demo version. Can I recover it? If yes, recommend me the solution.
Can you help me!.
