Ok, so someone recently emailed me about there hard drive’s back up issues. The drive is a Maxtor One Touch II. It doesn’t show up in My Computer, so I assume it doesn’t show up in Device Manager (I will ask him to check tonight). He uses some backup software and it doesn’t recognize the drive either. It shows up as an unknown volume.
I am 90% sure the drive has gone bad, but I want to get a second view on the situation. More information can be given if needed.
