I’m having trouble with data transfer speeds & Pinnacle Studio Version 7. It needs a 4MB/Sec transfer rate on the hard drive in order to download from a DV camera through a DV card onto the HD.
A 2GB returns around 3.4MB/sec using the Pinnacle diagnostic tool. Imagine my suprise when a 40GB HDD (spec 5400rpm/2MB cache) returned figures of 2.4MB/sec! What’s goin’ on ?! Am I missing something ?
