I have a WD600 Hard drive that I was using to back up some files. For some reason the HD stopped working. I have tried several data recovery programs and none have worked, but I’m not concerned about the data because I still have all the originals. I just want to get the HD working again. I checked the Device Manager and that detects the HD with no problems, but when i go to the Disk Manager the drive doesn’t appear there. So I am unable to format the drive nor partition it. I know I can just get a new and bigger HD for cheap but I will do that as a last resort. Any thoughts???
