We are looking at purchasing either PowerQuest’s PowerDeploy Suite or Symantec’s Enterprise ghost v7.5
THe main points I am interested in is the moving of users form one platform or pc to another (such as moving cookies, histories, favorites, emails settings and desktops preferences and such)and standardising images for each of out hardware platforms. 95% of our users are remote and are not on our corporate lan but are part of the domain.
I would like to hear from users that have used either product and can point pros and cons out of each package. THey are very similar price wise and we have been testing Symantec with good success.
