My motherboard on my xp pro computer is no longer working and I need to access files on the hard drive before my replacement gets here. I purchased a usb hard drive docking station to access the hard drive on my vista home premium computer. The problem I have is I am unable to open file because I don’t have permission on this computer to access it. Is there anything I can do? I need to access this file in the worst of ways before new years eve.
