I would really appreciate any help i can get on this one. I was recently working on a P5-60 Gateway system. My problem was that no matter what i did i couldn’t get the 3 gig hard drive to work with the system. I know the old system have limitations on HD size, but the system was working with the 4 gig hard drive before. I was able to hook up an 1.6 gig hard drive, but when i boot windows it wants me to point to the Command Interpreter. I tried all kinds of user defined settings for the hd but none worked. To finish up the story. I want to be able to use the system with both hard drives. One is 1.6 gigs which is being recognized and the other is 4 gigs which is not recognized. Any help appreciated.
