    Hard time reading web pages.

    by b1062 ·

I have a hard time viewing web pages. The text is all jumbled up on top of each other as though i don’t have enough space on my desk top. I’ve tried to modify the font setting in internet options but nothing works. I’m using windows xp. Could I be having a problem with my operating system?

Same problem when using increased font size

I’ve been using Mozilla for quite a while. I’m currently using their latest, 1.7.5. I have the same problem with web page writing on top of other writing. This happens when I increase the minimum font size to 22 points/pixels. I am not familiar with web page creation but I think it has something to do with style sheets. I believe that in my case the web page creators simply don’t have the foresight to design their web page for people using settings other than the default. I think they design their pages to be viewed at 800×600 and to Hell with anyone else. My monitor is a 19″ lcd with 1280×1024 resolution. I’m not about to change the resolution to properly view some jackass’s web pages. So, if you have changed the default view settings on your web browser you may be experiencing the same thing as I do.
