can u tell me the difference between ROM and RAM I know that one is Random Access Memory and the other one is Read Only Memory. we can't change the data in ROM thats ok. so my doubt is what data is stored in ROM and RAM

ROM is what stores the Operating instructions

So in a computer that would be the BIOS and any Microprocessor controlled devices like HDD's and other devices like that. It's also Not Volatile so if the power goes out the instruction set is not lost.

RAM is what the computer uses to do it's work so it constantly changes the contents of RAM as it works it's way through a instruction set or what you may like to call a program. It is also volatile so if there power goes out the RAM is blank when the machine is restarted.
