hay guys,

what is the difference between server and Domain. At what point we can call the system as server, and at what point we can call it as a domain ?? And what is meant by Domain and Domain controller? Is both Domain and Domain controller r equal??

that would be easier.

A domain is a network that is controlled by a domain server usually called domain controller - this controls the log on process for the whole network. A server is an computer that provides any type of service to other computers on the network.

Domain = the type of network
Domain controller = the server that controls it.
