hello all this is my first post but….
i recently sent my laptop in for warranty repairs but alas they said they found nothing wrong with my machine, which i know is a lie.
you see all my usb ports were dead and the screen was intermittently malfunctioning. now the reason i think they are lying is because if it messes up one more time they have to give me a refund.
the question is,
is there a hardware change log somewhere in XP that i could tell if the motherboard was changed to prove it. im not worried because they weren’t smart enough to format the hard drive anyway.
the reason i know it was changed is because they placed silver “if these tags are removed your warranty is void” stickers all over the bottom. and the first time i booted up my machine reinstalled the disk drive as if it was the first time installed, but yet they said they took nothing apart…
