Hardware profile problem

Hardware profile problem
Ok here is the problem when I try to boot normally on this hp laptop it freezes .If i go into safe mode a window pops up to choose hardware profile i want to use. I select the right one and then reset and it boots fine.
There are three hardware profiles one for docking station at work , one for stand alone use and another for dock station at home.Is there a way to redo a hardware profile or rectify this problem.
